ProjectDox file naming in Miami

The City of Miami’s ePlan naming convention gives every upload a discipline code and a number. Documents (applications, NOAs, calculations) can be multi-page; drawings must be one landscape sheet per file. Improperly named files may be returned at prescreen.

  • All capital letters, no spaces
  • Letters, numbers and dashes only — no periods, parentheses, asterisks or question marks
  • Start documents with DOC-0.pdf and drawings with A-0.pdf (or C-0.pdf for Public Works)
  • Max 1 GB per file; not password-protected
