Published hours and location
The City lists Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Miami Riverside Center, 444 SW 2nd Ave. You must be added to the waiting list at the Inspections Counter (4th floor) by 12:30 PM. Hours can change — verify before you go.
What must be done before you arrive
Your project must already be ready for review.
- Application started in iBuild
- A Building Department (BD) process number
- Drawings and documents uploaded to ProjectDox
- Each person may bring up to 3 process numbers
Exclusions
Historic districts, structural review projects (e.g. fences over 6 feet), open or unresolved code violations, and after-the-fact or legalization work are excluded.
